Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI gave 4 books and I got the Kindle Fire. Now I have to figure out how to use it :).
Merry Christmas Ladies of ATUF!
ReplyDeleteI got something even better then one or two books- lots of Amazon gifts cards!
Merry Christmas! :D I feel like such an odd ball, since we celebrate the 24th here in Sweden when everyone else seems to be celebrating today. ;) I hope you have a great Christmas!
ReplyDeleteFrom the family I mainly got money so I can get what I want, but I got tons of books from a friend for Christmas which I'm super excited about! And I gave two audiobooks to my parents! Hope you got some books! :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Hope you guys got some great books!!
ReplyDeleteI was on vacation from both of my jobs last week (yup, I have TWO), so I won't be getting my Secret Santa present at my day job until I go back on Tuesday. But I did receive my SS present from my night job on Dec. 15th, though!! I teach English as a Second Language at night, and we had our end-of-term/Christmas party at school that night. One of my students gave me a book I had been wanting -- "Comfort and Joy", by Kristing Hannah! I've been reading this book (plus two others), and am almost done with it. I LOVE THE BOOK!!!! It's a beautiful, supernatural love story!! I'll have the review up soon!

Merry Christmas Darlings! I did get one book this year, for myself. Genesis by Kait Nolan. I designed the cover *big grin*
ReplyDeleteHope you are all have a wonderful holiday!
Happy Christmas! :) I didn't get any books, but tomorrow I'm going shopping at Half Price Books. Woo-hoo!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteNo books, but gift cards for books yay!
I'm using my Amazon gift card to buy the Sookie Stackhouse box set for my kindle. Can't wait to start reading (I've only read the first one)!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you! I didn't receive any books or give any this year. It's not odd that I didn't get any since I rarely do, but it's odd that I didn't give any to DH or anyone. DH received the Steve Jobs book from his sister and that was the only book under the tree this year.
ReplyDeleteThat's not to say that I didn't give myself a book or two....DRIFTNET - Lin Anderson, a forensic thriller set in Scotland for my Nook.
Merry Christmas!
ReplyDelete@Rebecca - I'm not in Sweden, but we opened all of our presents last night at midnight and slept in for a long winter's nap today. No books for me, but the sweet buzz of a recommendation that went well. I recommended DRAGON BOUND as Christmas break reading to my friend Jeanette and woke up to a text message saying that she loved it so much she was trying to read right through opening presents this morning.
ReplyDeleteInspired by the novella Ilona Andrews is giving away this weekend, I re-read all the Kate & Curran books. What series should I re-visit next? Or is there new territory I should plumb?
Merry Christmas!!! May all your dearest wishes come true!!! :) I haven't got any books, but I'm gearing up for tomorrow's sale on Amazon UK *grinning*
ReplyDeleteTechnically, I made short stories for some of my friends, so in a way I did give books, and I recieved Merlin's Harp and Dearly Departed (but I already have Dearly Departed, so I'm going to have my mom pre-order the exclusive edition of Bloodrose instead ;)
ReplyDeleteI gave my sister Divergent (Veronica Roth), a gift heavily influenced by the review here (I had never even heard of it before!). I only got one book, so I might have to treat myself ;)
