We can't express how much we appreciate each and every one of you who visit this site.  As we are in the process of adding a new blogger to the ATUF team (you can still apply HERE), and have some significant design and functionality changes rolling out next month, we thought it was a good opportunity to let you weigh in on what you like, what you don't, and get some general feedback about how we can continue to improve and make ATUF even better.  Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback!

Please feel free to answer as many or as few poll questions as you like.

All Things Urban Fantasy is a beast!  And we mean that in the best possible way.  In the two and a half years since it launched, ATUF has become one of the most influential, widely read blogs in the paranormal genres and it shows no sign of slowing down despite the influx of paranormal blogs that have launched and folded in the interim.   Go ahead and do a search for ‘Urban Fantasy’ and see what sites pop up…yep, ATUF is the first blog on the list.

While we couldn’t be happier with the success of ATUF, we have decided it’s time to expand our duo into a trio.

At the time of writing this post, our list of Titles Received for Review is at an all time high (our widget can only display 100 titles), the number of interviews, guest blogs, and giveaways we host has increased dramatically, and the number of big events we run every year has grown too.  We have reached the point where we have more opportunities than we can comfortably accept and given the soaring popularity of the paranormal genres, it’s only going to get bigger.

So, we’re are officially starting the search for a new ATUF blogger.  We’re looking for someone who:

  • Loves paranormal fiction
  • Has excellent writing and communication skills
  • Is organized and comfortable working with deadlines

Starting and running a book blog is a lot of work.  It takes time to build a solid reader base, establish publisher, author, and publicity contacts, and carve out a place in the increasingly crowded blog field.  In essence, we’re offering you a chance to jump to the head of the line.  The person we add to ATUF will receive free ARCs for review and have a hand in developing content for the site.

Interested?  Please fill out this Application Form.

Donna from Fantasy Dreamer’s Ramblings

Well it is immediately obvious that Donna knows a thing or two about web design.  Her site is at once technically impressive while being extremely user-friendly.  Not that any of that matters, really.  I’d still read her site even if it looked like a thirteen year-old’s MySpace page, because with Donna, the interior is just as amazing as the exterior.

Donna in her own words:

My favorite past times are reading, listening to music and watching movies, in this order. I have decided I would like to start sharing in these past times with others in cyberspace. Reading is a passion of mine. Books in the Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Urban Fantasy, PNR, Horror genres and some non-fiction(to be honest not a lot). Usually, I'll read about 1-3 books a week, if I'm lucky because balancing work and family in with keeping up the blog and reading, sometimes gets hectic. But it's all worth it at the end of day. I have a great love for music and going to the movies. My favorite mottoes: "Live and let live" and "Always give as good as you get".
