I’m fairly new to the world of blogging (anyone who visited my blog between 9pm on Tuesday and 2pm on Wednesday can attest to the fact that I know just enough about html to be dangerous). But I’m not as new to the world of blog reading. I find them invaluable (not to mention entertaining) resources for finding out about upcoming books, new and veteran authors, and trends in the genre.
I started silently stalking several of these sites prior to starting this blog to see what worked and what didn’t; what was helpful and what wasn’t; and what features I wanted to adopt (*cough* steal *cough*) for my own.
Now there are a lot of book blogs out there. Some are great, some are not so great, and some are invaluable. To help you focus in on the best of the best, here is my countdown of the Top 3 of the must-visit sites for every urban fantasy lover:
#3 Tynga’s (Urban Fantasy) Reviews
Tynga’s Urban Fantasy Reviews is the first blog I found when I started hunting for urban fantasy related info, and her site is still one of my favorites. In fact, Tynga’s is the only other blog that I know of (besides my own) that focuses solely on the urban fantasy genre which means that every post is relevant. An added bonus: the site’s recent redesign is just beautiful!
Tynga in her own words:
I started reading a few months ago after I saw the Twilight movie, schools up here don't show you how fun reading can be, I'm glad I finally discovered it! I like reading paranormal/urban fantasy novels and it's even better if there's a love story in the plot!
Where: Tyngasreviews.blogspot.com My Favorite Feature: Tynga’s blog only covers urban fantasy Noteworthy: Richelle Mead authority!
