I’m so sorry to have to end my weekly Win on Wednesday posts and giveaway coverage. I just got a promotion at work (yay!) that is going to significantly increase my working hours (no so yay). Consequently, I’m going to have less time to devote to blogging. I’m not willing to cut back on anything else (reviews, interviews, giveaways, cover art posts etc.), so the giveaway/contest coverage is getting the axe.

The Win on Wednesday posts have grown exponentially from when I started them. The first one had 53 giveaways (and my first attempt at a graphic)

Compare that with the most recent Win on Wednesday post with 170 giveaways. It has become a colossal time suck every single day and there is just no way I can keep doing them with my new schedule. I hate to have to stop them because I know so many of you love them, but you can still get your contest fix from another blog:

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the promotion! I totally understand, although I'll miss these posts. I've recently switched to an overnight shift with more intense labor, so besides turning my schedule upside down, I'm also sleeping more, and it's definitely affecting my reading speed and therefore affecting how often I post book reviews.
