Patricia BriggsI always take note when one of my favorite authors is going on tour.  When that author happens to be Patricia Briggs, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Mercy Thompson series [she’ll be on tour this March to support the release of RIVER MARKED (Ace Hardcover; March 1, 2011; $24.95)] I enter the crazy fan stratosphere.  So it’s probably a good thing for Patricia that Arizona didn’t make the list of stops this year and both of us can be spared my desperate inquiries about when Mercy and Stefan are going to get married and have lots of walker-vampire babies.

I’m may be out of luck, but are you going to be able to see her? Feel free to steal my question when you meet her if you happen to live in any of these cities:

  1. Nope :( I was just looking at this series on Amazon yesterday and I added them to my wishlist. They wont stay on there long though, that's guaranteed :)) A UK tour would be very nice!

  4. Oh man the closest she will be is like 5 hrs away and on a weekday. Super bummed!

  5. I wanted to go to the signing in Riverwood, MN on Mar.4, but I won't have the money...or the passport...to get there. Lol.

I hate living in Canada, ONLY because I NEVER get to go to signings. I would travel the 9 hours, no problem...but my lack of passport makes it really difficult. : (

  6. She's not coming to Michigan either. However, I really can't blame her - it's freezing right now! The one year she did make it here, I was sick. I was totally bummed.

  7. I'm sorry that Patty's tour schedule didn't include Arizona, but we will be in Tuscon in November for TusCon. Maybe we can see you there?

  12. Ugh! Why can't she come to central Montana? *rhetorical*

I suppose I could ask my dad who lives right by the Richland, WA Hastings to go for me but methinks he'd find the request weird. Ah well, at least there seem to be a lot of other places that'll get to see Patty. :)

  13. Mike - Hope you guys have a great tour, fans are certainly very excited about the latest book.

Abigail - Jealous! Hope you get to visit TusCon and see them. I've been eyeing Authors After Dark and some of the east-coast conventions, then I remembered I'm going to "south coast" before long. Any authors coming to Georgia? How about some Atlanta love!
