(Real Viking helmets do not have horns.)” | You have to see the enlarged version of this cover to appreciate it. I thought it looked a little homemade until I saw it big. There is depth and subtlety that is missing in the small version. And while I wish they'd been able to in someway convey her chameleon abilities, I do love the viking helmet. | I love how much input the author has on this process. Simple, but effective, I too love all the attitude in this cover. The magic behind her gets a little mixed up in the lightning, but her moxie and the cover quote by Diana Gabaldon are enough to land this on my TBR list. |

DeleteI want Demon's Curse NOW!!! Such an eye-catching cover ;) Well, I definitely have few more books to add to my TBR. As to the new Lynn Viehl series covers, I've ranted about them already. That computerised Final Fantasy face is really horrible, and the eye colour is the least of its problems...

ReplyDeleteI actually like Lynn Viehl's cover for Nightborn. The color is vibrant and eye catching. It also fits the overall motiff of her previous novels. I love it.
ReplyDeleteIn a Fix cover didn't work for me at all. That whole tough girl pose looks so "wanna-be" to me. Plus her hair, face, nothing is appealing at all. If I saw that book at a store, I wouldn't even read the back. It just isn't eye-catching...but Nightborn's cover just beckons me!
