I am getting the Shape of Desire on Tuesday and dropping everything to read it!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you :) Hope it's amazing...really love the way Sharon Shinn writes.
DeleteI like the old format better.
ReplyDeleteI can see if a book is part of a series (and which).
I can read the descriptions without having to go back and forth.
If I want to buy a book I can just open the amazon page in a new tab and then I can choose to buy the kindle version or the paperback wich I can't in the widget.
That's a definite downside to the widget. We have no plans to abandon the old format. Just wanted to see if people liked having the widget too.
DeleteI also prefer the old format.
ReplyDeleteWe're keeping it :)
DeleteAlready have Tricked reserved
ReplyDeleteas for the look, I don't mind the widget, I was more worried about the info missing all together
Nope. We're not doing away with the original format. Just wanted to see if you guys wanted the Amazon widget too.
DeleteRe the widget-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Because...Amazon has THE most predatory practices. They have terrible business practices that are not friendly to the book business in general. I'd rather see a widget with the nook prices or sony or kobo using Amazon as the link.
ReplyDelete:) We hear you Helen. We're always exploring new widgets. We'll have to check out some others. We have no plans to abandon our current format.
