DEMETRIUS—He’s the hulking, brooding warrior his fellow Guardians avoid. Too dark. Too damaged. And given his heritage, he knows it’s best to keep everyone at arm’s length.
Isadora is missing. The words pounded through his head like a frantic drumbeat. For her own protection, Demetrius had done all he could to avoid the fragile princess, his soul mate. And now she was gone—kidnapped. To get her back, he’ll have to go to the black place in his soul he’s always shunned. As daemons ravage the human realm and his loyalty to the Guardians is put to the ultimate test, Demetrius realizes that Isadora is stronger than anyone thought. The Vampire Mine cover is really slick, love it. Can't wait to see the final cover on My Life as a White Trash Zombie, I am so in love with that artwork.
ReplyDeleteI can't say I like the Witches of East End art. I was expecting something more. I do like the leaves but overall this cover is just ugly IMO. Don't like the Haunting Violet one either, the UK one is far more to my taste.
Thanks for the cover love Abigail!
Jen D - Dan is my favorite cover artist. Everything he does is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBooks For Company - Yep, that's a pretty one. I'm excited about a new series from Alyx.
kjovus - The Fallen books won Best Covers in a Series for a reason. I'm not crazy about the clouds in Passion, but the whole look is really beautiful.
Live2lovebooks - WTZombie just gets cooler the more I look at it, and the concept does sound super fun.
Rhianna - The Witches of East End cover isn't one that I'm going to remember in a month or so, so I know what you mean. It sounds like we agreed on our favorites from the rest :)
Thanks for sharing all the awesome new covers! Honestly, i really love reading your thoughts on the covers. Whenevere I see that you've posted a new one I get all happy because you always have a great oppinion on them :)
ReplyDeleteAlso I just thought I'd point out that when you are talking about 'In The Heat Of The Bite" you have a thumbs up pic when you kind of made it known it was your least favorite. I wasn't sure if that was a small mistake or not. Just thought I'd point it out.
Thanks!
Caitlin - Yep, it was a mistake (I made quite a few in my rush to finish this post). Thanks for the kind words and the heads up :)
ReplyDeleteI love Dan Dos Santos' work! White Trash Zombie is awesome.
