All Things Urban Fantasy is a beast! And we mean that in the best possible way. In the two and a half years since it launched, ATUF has become one of the most influential, widely read blogs in the paranormal genres and it shows no sign of slowing down despite the influx of paranormal blogs that have launched and folded in the interim. Go ahead and do a search for ‘Urban Fantasy’ and see what sites pop up…yep, ATUF is the first blog on the list.
While we couldn’t be happier with the success of ATUF, we have decided it’s time to expand our duo into a trio.
At the time of writing this post, our list of Titles Received for Review is at an all time high (our widget can only display 100 titles), the number of interviews, guest blogs, and giveaways we host has increased dramatically, and the number of big events we run every year has grown too. We have reached the point where we have more opportunities than we can comfortably accept and given the soaring popularity of the paranormal genres, it’s only going to get bigger.
So, we’re are officially starting the search for a new ATUF blogger. We’re looking for someone who:
- Loves paranormal fiction
- Has excellent writing and communication skills
- Is organized and comfortable working with deadlines
Starting and running a book blog is a lot of work. It takes time to build a solid reader base, establish publisher, author, and publicity contacts, and carve out a place in the increasingly crowded blog field. In essence, we’re offering you a chance to jump to the head of the line. The person we add to ATUF will receive free ARCs for review and have a hand in developing content for the site.

I live in Canada, can I still apply?
ReplyDeleteDue to shipping costs, we are looking for someone in the US.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I wish y'all luck in your search for your new team member.
ReplyDeleteI'm mostly interested in dystopian and other science fiction books (I saw several listed under your Titles Received for a Review) and don't read e-books, so would you consider me at all if I filled out the application?
ReplyDeleteSusanna - I'm afraid not. We need someone who will read a variety paranormal of genres and formats.
ReplyDelete*waving* Hi Abigail! I don't have the extra reading time necessary to become a full time ATUF member, but I would be happy to offer my blog as a posting venue for your events/interviews/etc. If there's ever a time when you need a blog to throw a post up on, just email me!

Filled out an application. Just wanted to let you guys know that your blog is pretty much my go-to destination for Wishlist items, reviews, ect. Also...is it just me or is your banner art -very- familiar to the cover at on the anthology you just reviewed?
ReplyDeleteOooh, this could totally be made into a reader contest! You guys pick the top 5 applicants and they have to do a review-off or something. I don't know.. I just like contests.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say this is my favorite blog I follow. Good luck with the search
ReplyDeleteTheresa - Thank you!
ReplyDeleteBritt - Awesome, and yes, our 'girl' gets around. Did you see the PB of SHADOWFEVER? that's her too :)
Anonymous - We'll keep that in mind :)
Rebs - Thanks so much. I'm a fan of yours too!
I also noticed the ATUF girl on the old cover of Dead, Undead or Somewhere in Between.
ReplyDeleteI would completely jump at this chance if I already didn't have my own book blog to look after. Good luck with the search =DDDD
